Wedding of the Century !!!

Yes, this is the main event, but we're getting ahead of ourselves here.

Stylish guests arrived.

Lots of stylish guests.

All ages were well represented.

Just one of many very pretty young women in the wedding.

No visible tears from Dad.  Amazing self control.

Father Rob took care of business.

Closer examination reveals the true Father Rob.

The bridal couple lookin' good.

An attractive nuisance at the reception.
MY ATTORNEY WILL BE CALLING YOU!
(The tree is the nuisance.)

Happy attendees

Glad to be here!

Happy to be with Mom.

One of the nominees for the "Came From Farthest Away" Award

Happy young people.  Who's the old Molson aficionado in the background?

The Mother-Daughter Dance

More happy attendees.

And their lesser halves.

Can you hear the music?
"Wish They All Could Be Simonetti Girls....."

Remember when they used to walk to Craig Hill School?

Adirondack Autumn

Autumn comes early in the Adirondacks

But some flowers hang on

We were planning on paddling, but it got dark.

Clouds moved in

But the sun came up again.  Another miracle.

A good day for paddling.

You have to work hard to keep up with Mary.

Can you tell which one is called Camelhump?

Kane Mountain

The osprey looking for fish

The osprey a bit closer

Mom and the kids

It would be a really good idea to get south before duck hunting season begins.

The wind blew up some chop on West Lake, just past Dolgeville point.

The chop didn't bother baby loon's fishing

Paddling up the southwest inlet of Canada Lake

Nice view of Kane Mountain while paddling out of the inlet

Look for the fire tower on top.

I think the kingfisher was happy to see us go.
